Blair Begnaud, LEED AP BD+C, ASLA

Blair Begnaud was born and raised in Lafayette, LA and received both her Bachelor and Master of Architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2017 and 2019. Since graduating, she has gained professional experience in an architectural firm in Fayetteville, Arkansas, as well as in sustainability-focused roles across Louisiana and Arkansas. Her work spans higher education sustainability operations, planning and design, stormwater management, media content, and community engagement.

Blair is passionate about bridging the gap between healthy planning, design, operations, and community education to create programs, spaces, and partnerships that generate lasting environmental and social impact within communities.

She is a certified Acadiana Master Naturalist through the Louisiana Master Naturalist Association and has held LEED AP BD+C credentials since 2021. Blair is actively involved in her community through service on Lafayette Consolidated Government’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Committee and participation with organizations including Acadiana Native Plant Project, Bayou Vermilion Preservation Association, Moncus Park, and Bike Lafayette. She is also the team leader of the community team, Art on Wheels, an ongoing initative to install bike rack art murals throughout Lafayette.

Blair enjoys outdoor adventures and exploring natural spaces. One of her life goals is to visit all 63 U.S. National Parks by the age of 63.
