CARBO is a landscape architecture and planning firm established in 1995 as Jeffrey Carbo Landscape Architects. Our experience consists of a continuum of successfully completed works that include residential and estate gardens, regional parks, institutional, corporate, and academic campuses, botanical gardens, environmental education venues, urban streetscapes, and large scale planning initiatives.
Our recognized work embraces a thoughtful and resolute mission: clear purpose and artful execution within the ideology of classic simplicity. CARBO has garnered extensive peer recognition and has received over 70 design awards. In 2014, the firm was awarded the prestigious National ASLA Award of Excellence for the Woodland Rain Garden near Shreveport, Louisiana. Most recently in 2016, CARBO was awarded a National ASLA Honor Award for the St. Landry Parish Visitor Center (in association with Ashe Broussard Weinzettle Architects), a National ASLA Honor Award (in association with SWA Group) for Destination: The Lakes, and a National AIA Education Facility Design Award of Merit (in association with Lake / Flato Architects) for the Indian Springs School near Birmingham, Alabama.
